Library sync thread has exited

Hello,
 
When emby starts, after few seconds, I've got the message " Library sync thread has exited".
 
Emby version is 2.2.19 and KODI is 16.1

You probably have another addon installed that's interfering. From what I see, Kodi was doing a clean database. Check your addons, like watch dog or anything that would try to clean entries in your database and disable/uninstall it.

@@mastrmind11 unrelated. Library exited is a "catch all errors". The reason for the crash will vary.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I desactivated Watch Dog and the initial sync seemed to be good : movies and TV shows are well gathered but the error occurs when emby is gathering artists.

I haven't the log because the pluggin for posting was broken so I reboot and a new initial sync from emby began. If I get it I'll post it later.

 

Concerning Watch Dog I desativated scan from videos default folder and made a personnal scan (for a folder from my NAS). I forgot to disable it for music, maybe the problem was here.That was why I reset emby addon.

The emby addon will automatically maintain it's own entries and artwork.

 

Post your Kodi log if you encounter an issue. Keep me posted, thanks.

Ok, so my addon Kodi Log Uploader is broken (have to wait for 1 minute and the given adress is wrong : http://paste.ubuntu.com/ , without any number).

 

So, I extract le log file from SD Card, attached.

My Emby server version is : "Version 3.0.7300.0"

Ok, I'll let you know when I know more. For now, you can disable music in the addon settings > sync option so your sync can complete.

@ do you have the server log from that same timeframe? Was there a library sync running? Do you have a very large music library?

This is the server log.
 
My music library is not so big (223 artists).
It worked well (with music and Watch Dog) since few weeks, but one day (about 2 weeks) errors occured.
 
EDIT :
 
I needed to reset the addon after music library disabling.
I looks good :)
I tried to re-activate music library, It works but only fews artists are syncing from server, I'll take a look next days.

Your server is just really slow to respond when we pull your artists

HTTP Response 200 to 192.168.0.3. Time: 210541ms. http://192.168.0.2:8096/emby/Artists?UserId=b3d59d36674e4227af9dc2fe79f5a9d6&format=json

Our requests times out before the server has a chance to respond. Can you try adjusting the pull limit in the emby add-on settings > sync options > change it from 200 to like 50? Keep lowering if it doesn't work (to 25). Let me know if it helps any.

I tried to reduce the pull limit to 50, but there are still few artists (about 10) synced.

 

EDIT : I disabled music, deleted music folder in Emby server, reseted emby Kodi's addon, cleaned library, initialized Kodi's emby addon, added music folder in Emby server, activated music in addon, but there are still only few artists synced, always the sames artists :(
