jrubio 0 Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 I am trying to play a video, The Daily Show, nothing fancy. It plays great using Emby on Chrome and using the Roku app and even via Plex and Kodi. BUT, when I try to play it using my Nvidia Shield TV, nothing happens. I hit play and it hesitates for a while, screen goes black for a second or two and comes back to the starting place. This only happens with The Daily Show, both episodes I have in there. It seems to work fine with all the other videos I have and it only happens when using the Nvidia Shield TV. Below is the error part I see, but the log file has tons of errors I have attached it here and I posted it here https://file.io/8NgqMC 2016-08-21 07:43:53.5734 Error ServiceStackHost: ServiceBase<TRequest>::Service Exception *** Error Report *** Version: 3.0.6070.0 Command line: /usr/lib/emby-server/bin/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe -programdata /var/lib/emby-server -restartpath /usr/lib/emby-server/restart.sh Operating system: Unix 4.4.0.34 Processor count: 8 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Program data path: /var/lib/emby-server Mono: 4.2.1 (Debian 4.2.1.102+dfsg2-7ubuntu4) Application Path: /usr/lib/emby-server/bin/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe Comedy Central (US) does not have an image of type Primary MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.ResourceNotFoundException at MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageService.GetImage (MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageRequest request, IHasImages item, Boolean isHeadRequest) <0x4209c0b0 + 0x0086b> in <filename unknown>:0 at MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageService.Get (MediaBrowser.Api.Images.GetItemByNameImage request) <0x42125b00 + 0x00047> in <filename unknown>:0 at (wrapper dynamic-method) System.Object:lambda_method (System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Closure,object,object) at ServiceStack.Host.ServiceRunner`1[TRequest].Execute (IRequest request, System.Object instance, ServiceStack.Host.TRequest requestDto) <0x41e732f0 + 0x003bd> in <filename unknown>:0 2016-08-21 07:43:53.5734 Error HttpServer: Error processing request for /emby/Studios/Comedy+Central+%28US%29/Images/Primary?MaxHeight=60&EnableImageEnhancers=true *** Error Report *** Version: 3.0.6070.0 Command line: /usr/lib/emby-server/bin/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe -programdata /var/lib/emby-server -restartpath /usr/lib/emby-server/restart.sh Operating system: Unix 4.4.0.34 Processor count: 8 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Program data path: /var/lib/emby-server Mono: 4.2.1 (Debian 4.2.1.102+dfsg2-7ubuntu4) Application Path: /usr/lib/emby-server/bin/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe Comedy Central (US) does not have an image of type Primary ServiceStack.HttpError No Stack Trace Available InnerException: MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.ResourceNotFoundException Comedy Central (US) does not have an image of type Primary at MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageService.GetImage (MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageRequest request, IHasImages item, Boolean isHeadRequest) <0x4209c0b0 + 0x0086b> in <filename unknown>:0 at MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageService.Get (MediaBrowser.Api.Images.GetItemByNameImage request) <0x42125b00 + 0x00047> in <filename unknown>:0 at (wrapper dynamic-method) System.Object:lambda_method (System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Closure,object,object) at ServiceStack.Host.ServiceRunner`1[TRequest].Execute (IRequest request, System.Object instance, ServiceStack.Host.TRequest requestDto) <0x41e732f0 + 0x003bd> in <filename unknown>:0 comment EmbyLog.txt

Luke 42077 Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Hi, can you try upgrading to either mono 4.2.3.4 or 4.4.2?
jrubio 0 Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 I don't know how to do that. I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 (on the server)
Luke 42077 Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Hi @@jrubio, great things are coming to the next update of the app so please try this again. Take a look here if you're interested to learn more: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/42239-android-tv-beta-13x/ Thanks !
