Android app requesting Emby Premier on a personal server

Hello!

 

I have been using Emby for quite some months at my home. I have the emby-server installed on a Linux distro and I have been occasionally using the Emby Android app to connect to my emby server and watch my movies/series.

 

Yesterday night I performed an update to the emby-server and now the Android app is requesting an Emby Premier activation. Is this expected? Why is the Android app a paid feature now?

Hi, welcome. Yes it did change, but only for new devices. Is this the same device you've been using the whole time? If so, then please send me a private message and I can look at getting it taken care of. Thanks.
