App with not play from start only chapters

Hi.

 

I am very new to emby but love it.

 

I installed the app on my 2013 samsung F series. The issue i have is nothing will play unless i select a chapter ? Has anyone else had this ?

 

I get a connection error if i simply hit play.

I don't recall ever hearing anyone with that problem before.  There are a few of us with F-series TVs also. 

 

I assume you're running the latest version 2.1.3?  Are you having any issues playing the same files using any of the other clients?

 

You could try changing the max bitrate in the settings also (that's just a stab in the dark though).  It shouldn't be set any higher than what's stated in your user's manual or what you network can handle

 

We might need a little more information on what types of files, your current setup, log files, etc because right off I can't really think of any reason why that would happen.

 

Edit: possibly related to this thread?  I just tested mine and I'm not having the issue though
