Daobhaidh 0 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) Looks like FFMPEG is mangling audio on a lot of my files when converting from MP3 to AAC during transcoding. Kind of like it's been run through a tin can filter and then clipped. I tested it by snagging the command line on the FFMPEG process and running it myself and comparing the original and reencode in vlc. I couldn't find any settings that made it work properly (Edit: besides not reencoding the audio). However I noticed here http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/24151-theme-blue-neon-night/ a nicer channel that has a lot more options, and one specifically for skipping the AAC encoding. This channel is way nicer than the official one! Maybe the official one needs some touching up, eh? Edited January 17, 2016 by Daobhaidh
