Chromecast won't connect

Hi im running Version 3.0.5781.5 of the Emby Media Server on a i7 5820/16GB Ram and with Windows 10 Pro TH2 x64

and version 2.4.30 of the emby app on a OnePlus One 64GB running CyanogenMOD with root

 

I just switched to emby from plex last week, so im a fairly new user..

I have alot of trouble connecting to chromecast.. but its only sometimes..

 

i have 2 chromecasts

 

Often when i try to connect it simply doesn't do any thing..  i can see in the log that it can't find the chromecasts at all..  and if i go to google chromecast app (for configuring and reboot etc) it too can't see any of the chrome casts..   but any other app can see the chromecasts and cast to them with no problem (plex,youtube,yousee tv,netflix,HBO)..

 

Any advise on what to do to solve it ?

Maybe an issue with the new .5 server? I recently updated to this version and my mother is also not able to connect any longer by an internet connection.

I will spend some time at weekend at my parents home so I can take a look and report back.

i tried to update to the new beta version but it won't start....   i just get a black screen..   cleared cache, settings etc before i uninstalled but the beta version doesn't work..

Can you post your logfile from your android device please?

You may find it under Emby\logs\

Hi, Can you please try one of these builds and then use this procedure to obtain the application log?
