jimboz333 1 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I can use the Android Client and log in as long as I stay on the home network. Once I leave the home network it requires new sign in credentials. I can't get anything to work. What are the proper ones.

Luke 42077 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I am guessing it is probably not related to login but just the fact that the app cannot reach your server when away from home. so you might need to check your port forwarding to open it up.
bluemonkey07 590 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 OK sorry I was sure there was a section there regarding port forwarding, anyway what you need to do is set your router to forward port 8096 to the local IP address of the device that emby server is running on
ars92 4 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Okz im having the same issue. Im pretty sure that port isnt forwarded on my router. Are there any reason emby doesnt use upnp like what plex does? From what i understand, with plex, as soon as you sign in to myplex, the 32400 port gets auto forwarded. Please correct me if im wrong Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
