Movie Playback Freezing/Stop Start

Hi Folks,

 

I had posted on this thread http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/20255-webclient-chromecast-cant-control-video-slider-greyed-out/ a while ago that I was getting some movies freezing and lagging when they had played perfectly before. I am still getting this issue. 

 

I have attached the server and transcode logs (most recent) notable examples of movies that played fine before and wont now are "ratatouille" and "beauty and the beast"

They recently changed some stuff in how Emby handles transcoding, I had issues with my Chromecast stuttering to when it worked fine in the past, try lowering your transcode bitrate a tad and it should work fine.  Luke could no doubt explain what it is they changed, but basically it's now more efficient with the transcoding.

The changes we made don't really matter here because i don't think they would affect these videos.

 

This is a tricky one because the logs look fine with no obvious problems. Why don't we do this. Why don't you recreate the problem again, and when it happens, record the times in the movie that it happened. Then provide the server + transcoding logs and I can look at the log activity during that time for any indicators. Thanks.

Same probleme with also a pause/ freesing and black screen on chromecast

I'm seeing the same thing, but with both ChromeCast and the web player as well.
