Movie Theme Videos Plugin Questions and Support Thread

I saw TV theme music and Movie theme videos so figured maybe it would fit better here, ah well

It's not a big deal since this is a sort of cherry on top feature. I will probably replace songs/videos as I go along. Most have been working but when they're wrong it can be jarring lol

I'm hoping to have some time freed up soon to add some features others have asked for. I have a couple of ideas around the filters and a better config page with a way to playback, see metadata and report.

The debug logs will give you a good indication as to where it's stalled and why. If you want to run it up, wait for it to hang and then send me a pm with the log, I'll happily take a look for you.

Hello, the domain www.televisiontunes.com reports an error and cannot be accessed. The log shows System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: Name or service not known (www.televisiontunes.com:443 ). You can try accessing this address — it is invalid.

If you look at the TV theme songs thread, you will see the television tunes site is having hosting issues at the minute. This is something I'm already aware of and out of my control.

Since www.televisiontunes.com has ceased operations, why not delete the relevant parts and continue to retain www.televisiontunes.com? There is a possibility of creating empty nfo metadata

If it's through the standard catalogue, normally no more than a few hours. Have seen it take longer though. Giving your emby server instance a restart often helps. Make sure your emby premier and PayPal email addresses match too, otherwise you'll need emby support to move the licences over

I have a forever license but I cant see the email on my server? its 10 years old.
So I dont know if the email match?

Ok finding the old email I can see the license is under the secondar e-mail on Paypal?
I think I need some help (Have not found any support e-mail) my email is henrik@caspersen.name can someone help me?
I can see that this is the e-mail register for my Emby and its a secondar email on my Paypal.

idk what to. its the version or something else is wrong. it seem like only the Tv theme songs plugin is working the rest just error out. @radeon

Your post is a bit confusing pal. 

TV theme songs uses a different source and download logic to the other three however the other three all use the same so if one is working they all should be. 

The unavailable message is quite normal, media fire do it as a way to throttle the links. I've been back and forth with them quite a bit about it and even after confirming with them I'm using their API correctly, they still do it. If you've registered relatively recently, you might have just hit them a little too hard with lots of downloads so given some time of the scheduled tasks running they'll eventually download. 

Have you got literally no TV theme songs, TV heme videos or Movie theme videos downloaded? 

What you'll often see is the plugin going back again to attempt to redownload those it's been told are available but failed previously then continues to until it eventually succeeds.

I will wait a couple of days but so far no tv theme video or movie theme video/song.

only tv theme song been downloaded so far.

i did redownload and restarted the server couple time before posting this.

Give the latest version a go pal. Had chance to look into this further today and a compatibility update was required. I've just pushed a new release to each of the three. cheers

Strange, just re released and bumped the version, should be fine now.

Just went back into the settings for this plugin, (it's been ages since i've been in there.)

But noticed that when you go into the settings the web page will not scroll. This happens with all 4 plugins, and running the latest version of the plugin.
