Spotlight and Single Collection Feature Requests

I have two feature requests related to the new home screen:

1. I noticed on the Emby andriod app on the phone, the Emby Android app on the TV, and the "Emby for Android TV" app on the TV all display Spotlight differently; vertical large banners, horizontal large banners, and full screen banners respectively. It would be great if we had the option to select which option to use on any device and would add more variety to the home screen. 
2. It would be great if we could set "Single Collection" sort order to "random" like is available for dynamic media.

Hi.  For 1. The TV app allows you to select between a card and full-screen spotlight style and the standard app will soon be updated to also support the full-screen spotlight.

2. Has been requested before but I cannot find it right now...

The standard app has already been updated to support the full-screen spotlight, but I don't think it offers a choice.

Thanks! Good to know about the full screen spotlight. Will it be completely changed to that or will it be an option?

I know it allows card vs spotlight but I also like the look of the spotlight on the phone android. it would be nice to have that size option on the TV too.

Okay, cool thanks for confirming! I think it would still be nice if we had an option to select which of the three Spotlight styles we wanted to use per section.

Why would you ever want the vertical spotlight on a horizontal display or vice versa?

For me, just because it is nice to have variety. The cards view is a bit small, and the horizontal spotlight only allows you to see one item at a time, while the vertical spotlight on a horizontal display would allow it to have more impact than cards view while still allowing you to see more than one item at a time. I don't see much use of the horizontal spotlight on the phone, but on the TV all three options could work well. If the options exist, it's just an added bonus to allow the user to decide what they want it to look like.
