GrimEvil 109 Posted October 22 Posted October 22 (edited) @digitalironythat fixed it and all my stuff now shows up correctly, thanks! Now on to another issue 3DO, PlayStation, mega drive controllers all have 3, 4 or more buttons on the controllers, but when you play using this setup you only have two a,b buttons on the web controller, if possible it needs to show more depending on the emulator, as it makes some roms unplayable. Thats it for now of course Edited October 22 by GrimEvil

Thats it for now of course @GrimEvil thanks for flagging the controls. You were right, most systems were falling back to a basic two-button pad. 1.0.1.7 is out and gives every system its own controller: Mega Drive / Genesis, Sega CD, 32X: full 6-button pad (A B C / X Y Z) plus Mode Saturn: A B C / X Y Z with L and R 3DO: A B C, L, R, Play and Stop PlayStation: triangle, circle, square, cross, L1/L2/R1/R2, Start and Select N64: the D-pad now works as the analog stick (how far you push matters), plus C-buttons, Z, L and R ColecoVision, Atari 5200, Jaguar: number keypads, which a lot of those games need to get past the title screen Arcade: 6 buttons plus Coin and Start WonderSwan and Virtual Boy: their second D-pad You can also press two buttons at once with one thumb: put it between two neighbouring buttons and both register. In Mario, hold B to run and roll your thumb toward A to jump without letting go of B. The emulator’s own generic on-screen pad (the one with just A and is now switched off completely, so you should only ever see ROMote’s controls. If you still get only A and B on PlayStation after updating, please post a screenshot and say which device and browser you’re using. That would mean the built-in pad is still getting through somewhere. Multi-touch is also more reliable now: holding the D-pad plus a couple of buttons at once works, and tapping quickly no longer zooms the page on iPhone. After updating the plugin, restart Emby and reload any game page you had open. Let me know how it feels, especially if the two-buttons-at-once zone is too easy or too hard to hit.
GrimEvil 109 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Next thing Some of the emulators do not get an icon, example below Other ones do that it for now of course
GrimEvil 109 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 @digitalironyother question For the missing systems I used my own icons for now but..... Am I currently missing any supported system/rom set ? Also, the controller change so far is perfect, thank you
kjhedges 69 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Loving the Plugin. Working well I have a query with regards the Date Added on games when they are added. I see that 99% of them have the data added as 24|12|1996 22:30:59 so in the latest media on homescreen they obviously dont show up as latest. As also mentioned above, we really could do with the Play button in the same place as for normal media. I have setup these platforms so far and populated them all with roms ect and everything is working fine. I have to use Chrome instead of Firefox to play games though. I have some users who have played games on their phones too, bot sure on what phones though, just know that both Android and Iphone (later models work) I also have a personal Emby to Discord bot plugin that sends rich embeds for new content, now playing ect. Is there a way that you can have emby register in Dashboard when a game is started.
