It's a problem waiting to happen.

Check your firewall rules.  If the update reset your network setting, it may have also altered those.

How do I do that? Also when I try to update emby, it says application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor

I'm about ready to reinstall everything unless you guys can figure out what's wrong. I need this to work again. It's been 2 days now that I can't watch anything. I appreciate all the help im getting from you guys.

Yes that is it.
Add a check mark next to Emby or Emby Server or what ever Windows has called it (varies sometimes) in "private" and/or "public" depending on what you set your network for.
You will need to open a port to Emby in the router pointing to the machine running Emby as well, like port 8096 (though a HTTPs port would be much preferred)

Then connect with "http://youriphere:8096"

If Windows keep changing the setting then you need to find out what is causing that in Windows.
Windows has a bad habit of changing settings all the time without permission, specially after an update.
