Search functionality is broken

I'm not sure exactly when this began but at least in the past few beta versions I now have a "Recently searched" which appears before my search results.

Not only is this annoying, I cannot find a way to shut this off, and it shows results for items not related to the search itself.

In addition, there are now huge gaps of empty page space between this and search results.

i watched one episode of Sally yesterday. I did not search for the episode, yet it insists that I did and that I had searched for many others.

Its unfortunate that the most basic functionality of Emby which has worked perfect for years is now broken.

What is the fix for this?
