sk818 0 Posted Wednesday at 03:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:24 AM Emby suddenly stopped working for me 2 nights ago and I have been unable to login since. It seems to work and stream on my windows pc through the browser but unable to login anywhere else using 2 different samsung tv's, 1 lg tv and 2 different samsung phones. 1. restarted router 2. uninstalled and reinstalled emby on pc 3. deleted server and created a new one 4. port forwarding done 5. anti virus unblocked and or deleted anti virus entirely. 6. soft reset tv 7. uninstalled and reinstalled emby on tv's and phones. same error message every time on all devices listed above. screen shot attached. again, i changed nothing, this just randomly happened and nothing has worked so far.
Luke 42294 Posted Wednesday at 05:39 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:39 AM HI, are you trying to connect to your own Emby Server, or someone else's server?
ebr 16354 Posted Saturday at 09:00 PM Posted Saturday at 09:00 PM On the same network or remote? Are you sure the IP address didn't change? Are you sure it is running? Can you access from the machine with the server using a browser and localhost?
sk818 0 Posted yesterday at 01:34 PM Author Posted yesterday at 01:34 PM On the same network or remote? - SAME Are you sure the IP address didn't change? - QUITE SURE BUT I DELETED AND MADE A NEW SERVER FROM SCRATCH TO BE SUEW AND STILL NO LUCK Are you sure it is running? IT SEEMS TO BE RUNNING AS I AM WATCHING CONTENT THROUGH MY BROWSER Can you access from the machine with the server using a browser and localhost? I AM ABLE TO ACCESS USING A BROWSER AND LOCAL HOST BUT THAT'S IT/ UNABLE TO LOGIN FROM ANYWHERE ELSE.
ebr 16354 Posted yesterday at 01:40 PM Posted yesterday at 01:40 PM Hi. It is almost certainly your firewall on that machine that is blocking it then. Connecting from Client Apps
sk818 0 Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago I am a complete novice with this so could you walk me through the steps needed? I have no idea where to begin. Thank you

ebr 16354 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Another quick thing to check is, if on Windows, be sure your network wasn't marked as public. It should be private.
