Zenith Media 4 Posted Friday at 05:52 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:52 PM Yes, in the house, android works.
pwhodges 2018 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago What doesn't work? Have you gone through all the various steps for setting up and enabling external access from the page linked above? - it's not automatic... Paul
Zenith Media 4 Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago Yes. I have. I just doubled checked the emby settings and eero settings.
Zenith Media 4 Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago I checked it by turning my wifi out of my phone and tried to login to the server.
pwhodges 2018 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago If you run a port checker on your PC, does it say your address is what you expect, and does your Emby port show as open? Can you see your Emby machine and port if you use a scanner on your phone? Have you checked that your ISP has not put you onto cgNAT? Is the eero your router (I thought they just made wifi equipment)? Have you opened ports for Emby in your router manually? or are you relying on uPnP for that, in which case, is it enabled in the router, and is the Emby plugin for it enabled? You are giving us the absolute minimum information, thus making it very hard to help you. Paul
Zenith Media 4 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Giving information as I know it. Went through the emby help steps for external network. uPnP is enabled in both. eero is a router. What do you mean by scanner on the phone? eero doesn't have a web interface, it is app base.
Zenith Media 4 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago But, I do have a mesh system connected with the eero, different brand. Is there a way to maybe do it through there instead?
