The server is currently running on Debian 13. The installation went smoothly. I wanted to install the beta version of the client on a computer running Fedora. This also went smoothly with Debian using the Universal Installer, but did not work with Fedora.

I do not want to switch the server to Fedora yet.

Hi, so your original report is about the emby client or server?

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you would look at the attached textfile. There you can see that it's about the client.

Repo 'emby-beta' is configured (channel=beta).

Emby Packages:

    1) Emby Server                    Not installed
    2) Media.emby.client.beta         Not installed

Choose App [1-2] (B: back, Q: quit): 2

Package: media.emby.client.beta (Media.emby.client.beta)
Installed version: Not installed
Available versions: 2.296.0, 2.295.0, 2.292.0, 2.291.0, 2.290.0, 2.288.0, 2.287.0, 2.286.0, 2.285.0, 2.284.0, 2.283.0, 2.281.0, 2.280.0, 2.279.0, 2.278.0, 2.277.0

Anyway, I'll stick with Debian for now, and that solves the problem.
