Remote access on Emby server not working

Hi, I am seeking assistance if I can.  I recently moved house and plugged the server and got internet working with no issues.  Today i found a new place to put the router and server and as a result turned them off and unplugged before plugging them into a different location a couple of meters away.  Since doing this, i can no longer access Emby remotely.  I didn't change a single setting and all I did was move the physical location.  Any ideas?

How do you connect to your Emby Server remotely?

Is it possible when you disconnected the router it received a new WAN IP when it was powered back on? Are you sure you're connecting to the new IP? Check your Emby dashboard locally to verify your current WAN IP.

OK, have you validated that your noip domain has updated to use your current WAN IP? Sometimes there can be a delay, or a problem keeping that updated.

I know you said nothing was changed, but other troubleshooting steps to try:

• Check for cgNAT: https://emby.media/support/articles/Connectivity.html#cgnat-double-nat
• Checked for Multiple routers double NAT: https://emby.media/support/articles/Connectivity.html#multiple-routers-double-nat
• Checked that your ISP is not blocking external connections: https://emby.media/support/articles/Connectivity.html#isp-blocking

it has - I found that there is an issue somewhere re port forwarding.  the ip changes and the router isn't redirecting to the server like it previously would
