JoLister 3 Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Hello, It is possible to modify the "Parental Control" value for a film and assign a "Custom Parental Control" value. However, the selection is limited to a list corresponding to the country's categories (for example, for me: FR-U, FR-TP, TR-10, etc.). This is unfortunate, especially for custom parental controls. Indeed, a country's categories don't necessarily include the 4-year-old, 6-year-old, etc. categories. Being able to create your own categories would allow for more precise choices. Is it possible to modify the contents of the drop-down lists for parental control values? Thanks in advance.

Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Yes we need to look at this. The reason it is filtered to what you actually have in your library is because if we showed you ratings from all languages it would be overwhelming.
JoLister 3 Posted August 8, 2025 Author Posted August 8, 2025 Thanks for your replies. GrimReaper, thanks for the suggestion. It's not exactly what I want (I think a custom classification would fit better in the custom parental controls), but if that's the only solution, I'll try to go with it. Thanks, Luke, for your reply, but the drop-down list actually corresponds to the standard list for the specified language, not the list of values existing in the library (with Classification Mapper, I was able to create new entries and assign them to movies, but the values I created don't appear in the parental control drop-down list, nor in the custom parental control drop-down list). Anyway, thanks for Emby, an excellent tool. 1
