Cannot remote login

I've tried for days now to get remote access to my emby server without any luck.

This isnt the first time I've suffered this issue, in the past I followed CJTrippers advice with great success, however this time I've had absolutely no luck.

Message always reads 

'Unable to reach server'

'Were unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it id running and try again'

 

Local connection is working fine.

 

I'm running an ASUTOR Lockerstore AS6604T.

And currently on emby version: 4.9.0.70

 

As Ive deleted and rebooted several times error logs are few, attachment is below

Hi there, I would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter:

Connecting from Client Apps

Please try the steps listed there and let us know which ones succeed and which ones do not. Thanks !

I was convinced it was down to Emby, and as always I post a question and then find an answer before any response's.

I set up EZ-Router port forwarding rules again and I was able to connect without any issues.

Hi Luke and Thanks.

 

As usual I try everything, I post my issue, THEN realise it was actually the server that was having port issues.

I reset the ports in EZ-Router then activated them. Problem solved. 

I think sometimes its easy to focus on the program rather than the hardware.
