I get the following message what I try to run the server app.

"Apple could not verify “EmbyServer” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy."

I had to unblock it under security and privacy.
 

I have another issue though. I am unable to connect to the server from the app. It’s on the same network, VPN and firewall are not the issue. I’ve tried it on Apple TV and on my Google tv. Will not connect.

Hi, how do you know that vpn and firewall are not the issue? Have you taken a look at this?
