I also have a 2nd router, a non-residential Mikrotik router, but I do need the remote connection for family members. As I said in a previous post, my Spectrum ip address changed when I had to replace their modem for my 500 Mbps account; their old one would not give me better than 300 Mbps. I don't use any Spectrum routers.

The same exact thing happened to me, they used to use a modem/router combo that only went up to 300mbps. I ended up buying a router and Geek Squad will set it up this week, it is an ASUS AX82U, if I can get 10 years out of this modem i'll be happy as I had that previous modem/router combo 9 years already.

Hi, does your ISP allow use of these ports with the new router? Have you taken a look at this?

Connecting from Client Apps

I opened those ports and it is not allowing anyone to connect, although I can remotely connect from my cell phone, but my family cannot connect remotely at their homes from their TV sets.

I'm still using the free account which means I get an email every 30 days to validate. I am planning on upgrading to the enhanced plan at a cost of $39.99 for 2 years.

I bought a subscription for no-ip thanks for the idea.

What is still the open problem?

There is no longer an open problem. I used a service technician and they fixed the issue, it just took awhile because I had to wait until their availability to service my issue and install a new router.  Thanks to the feedback on here I also ended up also using "no-ip" so I will hopefully no longer run into this issue again, as it was very frustrating, but this is now solved.

Thanks everyone for your assistance, the issue is now resolved.
