Dobrý den
V OS routeru mám nainstalovaný a spuštěný server Emby v LXC kontejneru. V mobilu mám Emby klienta, přes kterého bych chtěl přehrávat hudbu. Když jsem v LAN se serverem Emby, klient se připojí k serveru a mohu přehrávat hudbu. Když jsem mimo LAN a chci přehrávat hudbu, nemohu se připojit k serveru z WAN v klientovi. Myslel jsem si, že to půjde. Nevím, kde dělám chybu.
Vyžaduje klient Emby veřejnou IP adresu mého routeru? Nejsem si úplně jistý, jestli mi ho přidělil můj ISP a pokud ano, je to pravděpodobně jen IPv6.
Jak úspěšně připojím klienta Emby k serveru Emby přes WAN?

To access from outside the client needs the external/WAN address - the internal/local address is just that.  You can find your external address using a web site like canyouseeme.org, but Emby should also show it on its dashboard.

You also need to tell Emby that you want external access - otherwise it will refuse it.  And the router may need to be set up to forward messages from the WAN (Emby can be made to try setting this up for you using uPNP, but this may need to be enabled, both in Emby and in the router).

Při pokusu o připojení přes Emby Connect se vrátím na obrazovku výběru možností připojení. V nastavení Emby serveru mám uživatele se stejným e-mailem a heslem, jako je ten, se kterým se pokouším přihlásit přes Emby Connect, ale nejsem přihlášen.
Při pokusu o připojení zadáním IP adresy se zobrazí upozornění, viz snímek obrazovky mobilního telefonu. A je jedno, jestli zadám IPv4 nebo IPv6.
K mému routeru zřejmě není IPv4 připojení, alespoň se mi to tak zdá při kontrole spojení v administraci routeru, viz přiložený screenshot. Ale ani po zadání IPv6 ke spojení nedojde. Nevím, jestli to může firewall routeru zablokovat?
V nastavení Emby serveru mám povolené vzdálené připojení a mám zapnuté automatické mapování portů.
Operačním systémem LXC kontejneru, ve kterém server Emby běží, je Linux Debian Buls Eye. Operačním systémem routeru je Turris OS založený na linuxové distribuci OpenWrt.

I suspect your IPv4 problem is likely to be cgNAT.  However, IPv6 may be able to work, so long as the router's firewall is allowing it in; but do you know your server's IPv6 address...?

Znám IPv6 adresu svého routeru. V administraci routeru je v nějaké zkrácené podobě a na internetových stránkách se zobrazuje v dlouhé verzi. Nevím, jestli to tady můžu zveřejnit?
Neznám IPv6 samotného serveru v LXC kontejneru.
Pokusil jsem se přihlásit k serveru na stránce https://app.emby.media/#!/startup/manualserver.html přes IPv6 routeru ve zkrácené i dlouhé podobě a odpověď byla: Nemohu se připojit k serveru
V současné době stále pracuji na fóru podpory pro můj router (Turris Omnia), aby bylo možné provoz přes IPv6, pouze pro mého mobilního operátora (O2 CZ), Abych co nejvíce omezil možnost útoků na můj router, ale aby nedocházelo k blokování připojení ze sítě mobilního operátora.

Zjistil jsem tedy, jaký IPv6 je přiřazen k LXC kontejneru v mém routeru a v jakém rozsahu IPv6 adres je můj mobil. S komunitou podpory mého routeru jsem přišel na to, jak nastavit firewall tak, abych mohl přistupovat k LXC kontejneru v routeru z mobilu ve WAN přes IPv6. V konfiguraci firewallu jsem udělal nastavení tak, aby oba porty Emby serveru (8096, 8920) byly přístupné přes IPv6 z WAN. Dostupnost portů jsem otestoval pomocí online testeru Online skener portů IPv6 - SubnetOnline.com. Bohužel ani jeden port není otevřený, nebo na něm nic nenaslouchá. Zkontroloval jsem také nastavení firewallu na portu 80, což je místo, kde naslouchá webový server v LXC kontejneru, a tento port je otevřený a z mobilu ve WAN se dostanu na web poskytovaný webovým serverem.
Port 8096 je běžně přístupný z LAN, tak proč není přístupný také z WAN, když je k dispozici port 80 se stejným nastavením brány firewall?
V nastavení Emby serveru mám povoleno vzdálené připojení a povoleno automatické mapování portů. Zkoušel jsem vypnout automatické mapování portů, ale nemělo to žádný účinek.

Hello Luke,
I'm not very knowledgeable about this, so I'm not sure. But I think the firewall has a redirection set up, see the picture.
Finally, as you can see from the picture, I installed the Jellyfin server. I also had a problem connecting to Jellyfin from the WAN via IPv6. I took the help of the artificial intelligence Copilot in Windows and with it I managed to configure Jellyfin and the router. Now I can access Jellyfin from the WAN via IPv6. I think the problem was that Jellyfin and probably Emby do not normally listen to port 8096 via IPv6.

Hi, Emby does. It listens in dual mode to respond to both ipv4 and ipv6. Did you try shutting down or removing that other software and just trying to use the same rule with Emby?

I have to confirm that the Emby server works with an IPv6 address, just like the Jellyfin server.
So my previous statement was a mistake and the inability to connect from a mobile phone from the WAN via IPv6 was probably caused by something other than the Emby server not listening on port 8096 via IPv6.
So now I will connect from a mobile phone to the Emby server via IPv6.
But I will stay with the Jellyfin server, its mobile application suits me better, because it is localized into Czech.
