mjbutsch 0 Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Hello I am running a Raspberry Pi 5 with Debian 12 (bookworm) 64 bit. I downloaded the Emby Theater aarch64 debian package and installed according to the steps on this page: https://emby.media/emby-theater-linux.html I see nothing happen when I run the desktop icon and if I run /usr/bin/emby-theater from the command line, I get "segmentatoin fault". Any suggestions? Mark
Luke 42077 Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Hi, we are working on revamping this app: So stay tuned for that. Thanks.
MartinCheetham 6 Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 Hi, did this ever get resolved? I have the same problem. I installed emby-theater-deb_3.0.21_arm64.deb on a 16Gb Raspberry Pi 5. Clicking the app icon, nothing happens. Running from the command line I get "segmentation error". Worth noting that when I installed the dependencies librasound2t64 was installed instead of librasound2. I don't want to use the Raspberry Pi image as I have other apps running on the same box.

I tried the snap version in the meantime. Installs but won't launch (/snap/emby-theater/x1/bin/emby-theater: 14: exec: desktop-launch: not found) 1
