Spirosp8 1 Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Hi, I have installed Emby server on a laptop to test the internal and external network - all works as expected. Laptop is connected to by wifi back to switch then out through ISP router then NBN. I have installed same on a desktop, connecting back to the switch and have no luck accessing the server remotely. all works internally. Connecting vie mobile service provider. Any support on troubleshooting would be great.

If so, have you verified the Network Profile is set to Private and not Public?
Solution Spirosp8 1 Posted April 21, 2025 Author Solution Posted April 21, 2025 Hi I checked that and was set up correctly. I connected the laptop to lan and had the same issue as the desktop. Check the switch and then logged into the router and checked that upd was allowed it was. So ended up connecting it to the router, no good then disabling and re-enabling udp it and then it all worked. Sorry for the hassle. 1
