Patrick974 2 Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 UPnP port forwarding manages the 8096 port but not the 8920. Qnap can't open the emby server from the application board. It uses the 8920 port.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 Did you do this? Secure Your Server | Emby Documentation |#using-secure-https-connections
Luke 42077 Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 Hi, when you click the button in QNAP, it's going to open the https url. There's nothing we can do to change that, it's just how QNAP works. What you should do is just bookmark http://ip:8096 in your browser and use that instead. That will take you to the http url. You can also setup SSL on your server if you wish to use the qnap button.
