DCCXVIII 0 Posted January 26, 2025 Posted January 26, 2025 (edited) So I downloaded the RPI5 image from https://emby.media/emby-theater-rpi.html. But now what? I'm a total newbie to Linux so I'm used to just double clicking an executable. But apparently that's not possible with the .img.xz file offered by Emby. How does one go about actually installing this file? Note: I do not require Emby server. I already have that setup elsewhere. This is for client only. Many thanks. Edited January 26, 2025 by DCCXVIII

Use the Raspberry Pi Imager to "burn" the downloaded file onto an SD card. Then put the SD card into your Raspberry Pi. After that, it's pretty straightforward.
