Hello all,

I am in the process of redoing some things in my enviroment and I was wondering how to completely remove LiveTV?  I have delete all the tuners and restarted Emby, but it still show's the guide with Triple Channels (now).  There is this old thread from 2015, but I tried this all with no luck.  Restarting the Emby Server is no help either, albeit nothing plays as expected.

That is the last one I had.  I had cleaned up the directories in preparation for a backup before changing things around.  Clean Directories, backup, remove Live TV, restart Emby SErver, LIve TV still shows up.  I see some database is corrupt errors in there but not sure what to make of it as I was trying to remove LiveTV all together.

Thanks, I was able to restore from a backup and am back to square one with a clean install with my Library in tact.  Will revist on how to remove LiveTV in the next couple of weeks.

My objective is to move purely to NextPVR.  Right now, I have a combination of both.  Emby uses the HDHR-4K that transcodes for Emby Apps on my phone in a remote seeting, but all my kodi devices on local LAN use NextPVR with HDHomerun OTA devices (very old ones) if ain't broke don't fix it, plus it seems 4k OTA channels are all going DRM anyway.  This works and it works very well, but the Objective is to integrate Emby into NextPVR (paid for already) and have one less link in the chain.

IMO it was a mistake when Emby decided their system was so good that users had to buy into one solution and other clients like Kodi could be ignored.  You shouldn't have to give up Emby to achieve what you want.

I apologize, I mistyped that or wasnt clear on my thought process.  My goal is to purely use NextPVR plugin in Emby and not have to use my HDHome4k as an actual source.  Though I appreciate the EPG availability, I was a NextPVR user long before Emby and have my own solution for EPG data. My understanding is (in a remote setting) the Emby App will connect back to the server and when livetv is selected, the Emby server will handle the communication to the NextPVR back-end and perform transcoding (if needed if the 4k device did not get selected) on the GPU.

My goal is when I add source in Emby, I will only select NextPVR plugin, point it to the IP Address and hopefully the EPG will transfer to EMBY so my remote clients can use the apps and I do not have to creative routing of my NextPVR instance.  I have found it to be extremely cumbersome to support Kodi (with emby libraries and livetv) in a remote setting (it can be done, i know) but the Emby App is simple.

I am perfectly happy internally with Kodi and NextPVR plugin.  I appreciate all the work all 3 teams have done over the years.
