Open Subtitles Error - Unauthorized

Having the same issue, have the latest plug-in version, have reverted to 1.0.55 and installs latest after server reboot. No issues with credentials.

Checked my logs and have been getting the Unauthorized error since 6am yesterday (July 10th).

Another thing. I removed my OS credentials and restarted Emby. This made it switch to the non-VIP API (https://api.opensubtitles.com/api/v1/) and I was able to search and download subtitles.

It confirms what @mooncaptain posted.

Yes I think this issue is isolated now to vip users. Has anyone been able to try the test build I posted on the previous page? I'm hoping that will resolve it.

Same situation for me.  When my credentials are input, the OpenSubtitles plugin gives a readback during manual subtitle searching of: "No results found.  Have you configured subtitle downloading?"  

Whenever I deleted my VIP credentials, it allows manual subtitle searches to go through and downloads to happen.  Otherwise, when I run the scheduled subtitle task it displays percentage progress but my OpenSubtitles account reports no downloads against my 1,000 daily limit.

I'm on 1.0.57 from the catalog. Is this test build different from that one? It has the same version.

I rebooted. Checked my credentials. But it didn't work.

I needed to restart the server after wiping credentials for it to stick.

this didn't help. After clearing (deleting text) and saving credential page the credentials return on refresh. Also tried this and cleared the browser cache. and rebooted. the credentials still come back.

Where are they stored on the server?

I had the same issue and this worked for me : remove my credential and save. Restart the server.
I now have to I leave the credential empty for it to work. As soon as I enter my credential it stop working. I have a VIP acount for opensubtitle.
No clue of what's going on here...

Yes it is different. I just made a change for testing without increasing the version.

I just tried your test build.  No change.  Logs still say unauthorized.

first off - the new dll isn't working for me. Same pattern in logs as before.

2nd I can't get unhooked from my vip account by deleting the credentials.

So... I created a new opensubtitles.com account - no vip and that worked.

I can now download subtitles just not very many.

I tried it. Same as before.

no-auth (api.opensubtitles.com/api/v1) works.

VIP (vip-api.opensubtitles.com/api/v1) doesn't work.

That is where this get confusing as not all these unauthorized appear to be VIP or per say are not hitting vip-api.

Does the plug-in check for VIP status and uses the non-VIP API if the member has a basic OS account? I have only tested with (VIP) and without credentials (anonymous).

I have updated it with this file and am still having issues

I spoke too soon. I did get a list of subtitles when I switched to a non-vip account but... I get a NotAcceptable error message attempting to download.

Now I'm going to try addic7ed - I can down load that but now I'll see if it will sync my 23.8fps file.

I will guess removing credentials puts you back in the bottom tier of OS daily limit of 5 downloads.

Attaching logs using the test plug-in in case there was debugging info in that build. One file with credentials (failed) and the other without (worked).

Current state - somehow my new non-vip login attempted or completed 20 downloads when I wasn't looking. I turned off the scheduled task.  Once the limit cleared after 24 hours I can now at least download subtitles.
