Okay, this is getting ridiculous.  When will this be fixed?  I need this fixed because the other THE365 is no longer and would like to watch/record some of these shows.

These drawn out updates reduce the value of the product that I paid for.

@justinrhIsn't this the same issue as the other thread?
THE365 is what your current guide is showing but they switched the lineup and it's now TSN correct?

I looked all over for you which is when I found the two guides I posted with different info as well.

If you know where the tower is, try this.
Lookup the zipcode for a city/town on the opposite site of the tower.
Look at both OTA and the cable channels.

I looked through the cable guides in your zipcode already with no luck.
Normally if a channel has changed it affects an area so the problem is often the same for OTA, cable & Sat if it's a local channel.
It's worth checking the other side of the tower but I wouldn't get my hopes up. It's probably the whole area on all delivery methods that are wrong.

PS don't worry about the channel number. As long as you can find it, you can use it manually mapped.

They are not the same issue.  Channel 29.x vs 48.x.  I can use my TV to see the correct programs, so I know Emby has the wrong stuff.

Let me make sure my HDHR is up-to-date.  So far no diff in Emby; let's see what happens overnight.

Functionality is correct and you're not having a technical issue beyond the guide data correct?

I believe that is correct.  Nothing changed overnight.

Is it still an issue now if you refresh the guide data?

Uh, yes, still an issue. @ebr

That's interesting.  Did someone edit my post?  I don't recall tagging ebr, or even thinking of such.

Is there some reason the provider can't add two channels to the lineup?

They don't just add or remove channels unless it's an issue they caused (very rare).
What they normally have to do is contact the station/broadcaster to get an authorized lineup change.
Then depending on the channels and contracts they have in place, will need to get source programming from the station or can use a network feed if appropriate.

When we've reported issues like this in the past, we've seen anywhere from it being fixed the next day to taking a couple (or more) months. They don't really elaborate on specific processes for a particular station or feed other than give a general overview that applies to everyone.  But I've got the feeling that many smaller stations owned by larger stations or entities keep control over programming and channel selection. With all the station buyouts and mergers that are always taking place I wouldn't doubt the stations never update contact info properly which then causes our provider to play phone and email tag with the stations to get that worked out before they can even address the reported issue.

As I said, I don't know if that's the case here or not but it's certainly not uncommon. I added a note on my calendar to follow up on this on the 27th to see if I can get an update. I noted the trouble ticket and contact info above so it will be an easy follow up on our part.

PS, I did some web searches to find guides from other online sites both using and not using the same guide provider we use, and it doesn't seem like any of them have the correct data. I might try and reach out to the station as well to see if I can get any info from them as well.

Updating this from discussion here

Basically - if a channel already exists in their database, then they would add it to lineups that have it missing

If a channel is not in their database, then they may consider a request from us if the station is a full-power station. But, either way, the normal process for channels to be added to their database, is for the station itself to ask them to do that. They would probably need to pay Gracenote for that.

The missing 29.x channels from  WTHV-LD appear, according to Wikipedia to be low-power stations
