kasablur 0 Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 (edited) Hi, I've installed a server and can't find the http address I need to enter in order to connect to the server. Everything I see online says it should just show up here, but it's not. Just the WAN address, which doesn't work when trying to connect to the server. I feel like I'm going crazy here, why is it so difficult! I've tried the knowledge base and no luck. Thanks in advance for your help. Edited May 4, 2024 by kasablur Changed title for accuracy

Luke 42080 Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Hi, that’s strange that a local network address wasn’t detected. Please attach the Emby server log: How to Report a Problem Thanks.
visproduction 315 Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 Kas, You should have another line in your config info window: In-Home (LAN) access: 192.168.(...some numbers) There are steps to for the router to forward the port and for the server to have the correct firewall settings. You can't skip these setup steps.
