I'm having a similar issue with a number of errors including port mapping etc which I have checked and cant seem to see how to fix.  emby and remote access is all working fine, the server just wont update anything new.  I have tried deleting library and activity files however neither exist.

Please Help!!

Hi, regarding the port mapper, it’s not guaranteed to work with all routers. If it doesn’t work with yours then you can always disable it and configure port forwarding in your router manually.

Regarding the library can you please provide a specific example? Thanks.

I have had the port mapper set up for over 12 months now with the same router.  I'm not sure why it would fail all of a sudden?

Any new file that is added is not scanned onto the server.  examples are Napoleon (2023) and Boy Swallows Universe.  I have tried to follow the guide re corrupt database however neither the library.gb-shm, library.db-wal or activity files exist within the IOS files

Ok please run a library scan and then once it finishes please attach the emby server log. thanks.

I'm sorry, my knowledge base with this is very minimal.  I tried to go further with the DB Browser however have no idea what I'm doing and am unsure how to run a integrity check without the library.db file

OK then you can skip that step and just move to the part about renaming and starting with a fresh library.db file.

Ok.  I've tried to create a database on the DB browser however there are no files within the emby files that the program is able to open.

Why? Our instructions never indicate that you should do that. If you're going to skip over the recovery steps, then the next step is this:

Steps to Reset Library Database & Load Fresh
Shutdown Emby

Change to the database location found above containing your database files

Rename library.db to library.corrupt

Restart Emby

Run a Full Library Scan

I can't rename the library file as there is none

Why, did you delete it? If you didn't delete it then you might be in the wrong folder.

Anyway if it's gone now then you can just start the server and go from there. You'll have to reconfigure quite a bit, but once complete you should be good to go.

it was never there to begin with.  i have opened every single folder and nothing.  Do i need to remove my library on emby and restart?

The library.db file is always there. You must be in the wrong folder. What folder are you looking in?

So i followed the instruction re the three dots and seeing what the first folder was called.  mine is /config  .  I then shut down the server and have opened the usb containing the files and opened the config folder.  There are a number of folders and files none of which are called library.  I have also looked in every other folder on the usb to be sure i havent missed it

What is the full path to the folder that you're looking in?

Based on your log file it should be /config/data

Under config there is no data folder.  This is what is under config

That's not the right folder.

The /config folder that the Emby docker container sees is a virtualized folder that maps to a real folder somewhere in your unraid data folders. I don't know where exactly that is for you. You should probably check unraid settings and see where you have it configured to store data.

Once you've located that, then it will have folders for all of your unraid apps, including emby server.

Thanks for the help.   This all appears to be above my knowledge base so i'll need to find someone to physically look at it all for me as I have no idea.  Cheers
