HannibalRoG 1 Posted January 13, 2024 Author Posted January 13, 2024 I posted in another topic but my problem is a little different. I had to restart the PC where emby server is and now it can only be accessed from localhost. Emby can be accessed from any PC on the local network or even from the same server using the IP. Any ideas? With localhost With Ip embyserver.txt
Luke 42080 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 @HannibalRoGI would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter: Connectivity Please try the steps listed there and let us know which ones succeed and which ones do not. Thanks ! 1

Thanks ! The only thing that could be blocking the connections would be the Windows firewall, but even when disabled it does not allow access from ip address. But even with the firewall activated it only allows access using localhost:8096 not with 10.30.10.23:8096 on the PC where the Emby server is.
Luke 42080 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Is the 10.30 address a remote address or local network address?
Neminem 1519 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Check your NIC settings, that might have been set to public. After a reboot or windows update. 3
HannibalRoG 1 Posted January 13, 2024 Author Posted January 13, 2024 Was DiskBoss_(64bit)_v10.5.12.exe for some strange reason. Solved.
Neminem 1519 Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 OMG a piece disk software messing with NIC. I wounder what it was doing, calling home to upload your private data.
