jluna001 0 Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 Recently I removed a good amount of shows to clear up some space on my server. However in Emby some shows are still showing up. when I try deleting them again within Emby I get this error: I tried following the "Corrupt Database" steps and using DB Browser for SQLite I got this: Made a copy of the library.db file. Ran the SQLite command: sqlite3 library.db ".recover" | sqlite3 library-recovered.db Then: sqlite3 library-recovered.db "PRAGMA integrity_check" Shut down Emby and put the library.db file in my data folder, but could no longer connect to the server. If I remove it and put the original library.db file I can connect to server with no problem again. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Also what could have caused this to begin with. I usually delete files through Sonarr or Radarr, then do a library scan. embyserver.txt
Luke 42080 Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Hi, please see here and let us know if this helps get you squared away: Corrupt Database
jluna001 0 Posted December 19, 2023 Author Posted December 19, 2023 Tried that not sure if I am doing it correctly. I did get a library-recovered.db. renamed it to library.db placed it in my data folder but server would not launch.
Luke 42080 Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Is any emby server log file generated? Emby Server Data Folder
jluna001 0 Posted December 19, 2023 Author Posted December 19, 2023 yes I attached the server log in my original post

jluna001 0 Posted December 19, 2023 Author Posted December 19, 2023 (edited) Oh apologies. No logs as server does not load. All I get is a message saying "Emby Server is loading. Please try again shortly." Edited December 19, 2023 by jluna001
Luke 42080 Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 If you got that far then there is a log file. Are you sure you shutdown the server? What files did you change?
jluna001 0 Posted December 19, 2023 Author Posted December 19, 2023 after I shutdown the server I rename library.db to library.old and I rename library-recovered.db to library.db
Luke 42080 Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Was there also a library.db-wal file? or library.db-shm? Those should be moved as well.
jluna001 0 Posted December 19, 2023 Author Posted December 19, 2023 no I do not see those once the server is off. I do see them when it is running.
Luke 42080 Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 When the server is shutdown and you try to access the web interface, what do you get in the browser?
