McDonalds 1 Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I have: -ports forwarded on router. - remote connections enabled in emby settings. - installed port mapper plugin / restarted. - toggled port mapping on and off / restarted. Internal connections are going through, but getting connection failure for any external connections, could I get some help with this? Feel like I've tried everything...

Luke 42083 Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Hi there, I would suggest checking out our Connection Troubleshooter: Connectivity Please try the steps listed there and let us know which ones succeed and which ones do not. Thanks !
justinrh 260 Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 We've seen this before. Something changed - most likely after an update of the OS or some app (like firewall or anti-malware) or the router. If the server is running Windows, verify the network profile is Private. I saw a similar issue on a networking forum where the guy had to remove and re-add the port mappings. Is your domain still pointing to your WAN connection? What app are you using and what error is shown? Do you still need the port mapper plugin?
McDonalds 1 Posted October 5, 2023 Author Posted October 5, 2023 So sorry, got it figured out! the connectivity page helped a lot, thanks for all your help!!

McDonalds 1 Posted October 5, 2023 Author Posted October 5, 2023 Not sure entirely, I remapped the ports for a third time and it just started working... 1
