Emby not seeing my HDhomerun Flex

idk what's going on, I've rebooted the windows computer it's installed on and tired both stable and beta and same issue. Rebooted the router too.

 

odd thing is I saw somewhere was to test on my android phone and that emby server seeing the HDhomerun Flex just fine....odd. 

 

I've attached the logs, let me know if you need anything else.

So I add the HDhomerun to emby with its local IP address then guide data from emby. I go to channels none of my locals are there(I can see the other m3u channels I've added but not the HDhomerun)!

 

I can go to the hdhomerun app on my computer and with that I can watch TV just fine, but not from emby.

Yes it did. The green bar for the guide to load in finished and nothing else is running. Still nothing.

Nope nothing under channels tab in live TV setup. I've look though the entire list and sadly no locals.

OK please try rebooting the HDHR, then run the refresh guide operation again and see if that helps.

Unrelated, did you setup a library pointing to inside the server's data folder? Notice this error:

I would check your libraries in Emby library setup and remove any that are pointing under there.

I would check your libraries in Emby library setup and remove any that are pointing under there.

Sorry I had to step out, but I rebooted the HDhomerun and tried again with same issue. I even switched out the routers thinking it was like that because sometimes att(my isp) router doesn't play nice(I did reboot the hdhomerun again after switching out routers and did the same for the computer and the main modem/router) but I switch out to linksys with same issue. I even did a clean install of emby with the same issue.

My HDHomerun would get a new IP address every time it rebooted, until I gave it a static IP through my router.

Are you sure you have the current IP address of your tuner configured correctly in Emby?

I even thought of that and both on the att router and the linksys router I gave it a static IP address and same issue, and when I go to that IP address in my web browser it pulls up the HDhomerun. So I'm 100% it's the correct IP address.

The log looks good to me. Try putting this url in the browser:

That's what the server is using to get the channel list from the HDHR.

Are you sure the refresh guide completed? I didn't see that in your provided log. I saw it was stared, cancelled, then started again, but the log ends shortly thereafter.

Yup, I see a gray bar next to add guide data source. it never fills in, just there for a second or two and gone the next like in the screenshot.

I just entered the IP address and clicked add TV source? the only thing clicked was Allow hardware transcoding and Restrict to channels marked as favorite(I tried both with and without those options).

This is probably the reason. in the json response you provided, none of those are marked favorite in your hdhr.

Thanks for following up. We should re-word that option anyway to make it more explicit about what it filters out.
