Emby for iOS 2.2.6 - Emby Server 4.7.11.0

After updating to iOS version 2.2.6 this morning my Home screen does not work/display, the loading wheel/circle just keeps spinning. Its the same on the web (chrome etc). On Apple TV the App works and shows the home screen content.

Anyone else that had this problem after updating to 2.2.6?

Its for external access and Emby connect, this stopped working after I updated to 2.2.6 iOS

My problem is that I now cannot play .strm files anymore Emby on iPhone and iPad.

just a spinning wheel. I can see the time/duration but it never starts playing.

did a clean install. loaded some .strm movies and they play, but i cannot stop, pause or foreward.

iOS 2.2.7 update same problem.

This forum ain’t working how it should (on iPhone)

 

but i have installed Emby server on a laptop and the problems with .strm files!

The problems started after Emby updated the server and iOS apps.

 

will this be fixed or can I move to Jellyfin? I just moved away from PLEX. But this sucks big time!!!!! Stuff that worked before now stopped working?!?!?! 
PLEX did support .strm files until they dropped that feature. Same with Emby or what? This just smells! Never I will pay for a lifetime membership to this kind of companies. Emby is moving the same way as PLEX…… money scrapers and feature killers.
