Something strange anyhow the first 50 .. 70 entries of artists were found automaticaly. This lead me to think about a sort of overflow in a database ??

@ppatou are you still running into this? Something is blocking your emby server from sending these outgoing network requests. Typical causes of this are firewall, security software or VPN. Can you check into those?

Hello Luke,

Yes it is still a problem. Emby is installed on OMV6 without firewall, file permission is set to everybody, there is no VPN. The pc is a Nuc with 4Gb Ram and 128 Gb SSD.

I deleted emby and reinstall it.. Emby found the pictures for almost all the albums, all the songs, all the folders but only a very few artist and albumartist. I did not try to put some movies upto now.

When I limit the folder to 30... 40 subfolders Emby find everything. When I put more that 30 ... 40 folders there is a problem on the artist and albumartist.

I have installed the same folders on a windows PC and, there, after about 1 day emby found everything. For me, it looks like a database overflow ?? But I am not a specialist on databases !!

I hope you can have some positive proposals

Hello Luke,

Please find enclosed the log file since the startup on a new emby installation on OMV6 using docker

Start at 00:25:20

Up top 00:55:50 a few errors but still loading info's

After this time pratically no more data loaded only errors

Hope you can recognize soemthing !

@Ppatou this is in Unraid.

If you are not using Unraid, then this is not for you.

In Unraid you dont need to use portainer.

Thanks for your proposals.

I have read those posts on OMV forum.

I tried what they propose but could not find a solution for my problem.

It looks like the problem is in OMV6 and not in Emby !!

I will be out for a long time now and will not be able to play with Emby.

I will contact the forum later if the problem is still present.
