Hey,

sometimes the youtube trailer links coming from moviedb are just crap. Is there a way to edit the trailer link? If not, could you add the possibility to edit the trailer link in metadata manager?

Thanks in advance.

Currently the trailer url is not exposed to edit within Emby UI.  Only options is to edit the url in the nfo if you write nfo files.  If you don't write nfo files you would have to edit the database directly.

Is there an nfo primer anywhere? I currently don't use them, but wondering if there's an easy way to create them for something like this. I'm curious what the other advantages would be as well.

Yes it's something we can look at adding. Thanks for the feedback.

Turn on NFO use in the library and make a change to a movie/episode and it will write the NFO.  Anything new will get an NFO written.

Then you can look and see how the trailer is stored in the NFO.

All you have to do is enable the option, select edit metadata and hit save to write the file.  But that still will  not give you a full picture as it will only populate what the database has.  So it really is not possible to see all the field Emby can/will use as they are not written as empty fields.
