Yes it was when I played those files. Last time I tried it with out it the file wouldn’t go past a black screen.

Looking at the server IP it is not a LAN IP either.  Does the client have a playback quality for LAN and WAN like the web client?

No, Apple TV only has quality option for local network. I suppose that applies for LAN and WAN.

Restarted everything. Still skipping. New Log. MVP enabled, absolute highest quality I can see to choose. Oh, there is also a hardware detection file, this I have not noticed before

OH wow!  I decided to try playing again on my pc and for the first time ever in my memory I get a Playback error message, no compatible file?! I tried it with a few files. The file plays in VLC player and while the Apple TV app skips and freezes, it can still access the files. Here is a photo of what I see and a new log.

Something weird here, after play start there is a playback stop notification, but no error is displayed. Is your server health correct? Are there other processes running?

I am not sure what server health is, but nothing else was running.

So that warning on my pc, I found that it is only happening on MKV files, which is the overwhelming majority of my files and I am never going to convert those to mp4. Does Emby now no longer play MKV?

Something else has happened, the ability to alter video quality is no longer present on the app in AppleTV4K. I can enable and disable mpv, but not raise or lower quality through the app. I will check and see how this goes on other devices.
