Hi,

I'm trying to set up a RPi4 Libreelec to remotely access my Emby Server.  I've had the server set up for a while and using a browser it can be connected to remotely.  Everything works great!

However today when I put together a RPi4 with Libreelec I can't get it to connect.

Libreelec is v9.2.6 (Kodi 18.9.0).  Emby server is 4.5.4.0 (Synology).

In the connect to server box I have the host entered as http://MyRemoteEmbyServer.cf and port number to 80 (same as I use for remote access using a browser).   After a short while I get "Unable to connect to the selected server" message.

Under the addon (Emby for Kodi) settings I tried entering the Username, server name, and IP for the emby server address but that didn't seem to help.

I am testing this from my LAN.  If I go to chrome and enter http://myremoteembyserver.cf I get the Emby Please sign in screen.   Kodi (Librelec) still doesn't work.  Does anyone have an idea as to what is different with using Kodi vs a browser when connecting over the internet?

Is Kodi connecting via internet or Lan?

If Internet, does Kodi have access to Internet? Sound like a network issue. Do you use Embyconnect?

Also you can try Emby next gen plugin

I was able to get EmbyCon to work using https.  However I was never able to get the Emby addon to work under this scenario.
