emby-next-gen - what am I doing wrong?

Hi!

I tried embycon with Kodi and did not like its interface.

I decided to try emby-next-gen but it will not even start... and to be honest I don't know what's wrong.

I did not start with my Sony Android TV and Huawei Android Tablet.

I can't connect to emby server (unraid). When configuring this addon I add username and server local IP: 192.168.1.200
but there's no field to enter user password.

Screenshots attached. Any help appreciated.

No need to manually configure the connection. There should be a wizard on first start. If not, there is something very wrong. Is this a fresh installation?

Yes it was a fresh installation of Kodi and emby-next-gen beta.

I tried another time, but this time I used Emby standard repo (non-beta) and it works!

There must be something wrong with beta version (it required Kodi restart and there was no wizard on first start).

Standard version (5.1.17) works just fine.

Thank you for your help.

Just tested again from scratch with beta. works fine, beside sometimes dependencies are not installed. Did you get an error msg while installing beta?

If yes, just install the plugin again and it will work. Not sure what's the reason.

I'm going back to emby beta app, because external .srt subtitles don't work  with Kodi and emby-next-gen addon.

and exactly the same behavior on tablet.. stable works, beta does not. Strange.

I'm back to Emby app which seems better than Kodi.
