Hi

 

I just downloaded the server on a mac and set it up, made a username, library etc...

Everything looks good, sorry for the basic question but how do I access this remotely now?

 went to media.emby and it keeps saying wrong username and password.

Can someone help with that, not sure what I'm missing

Hi, welcome to Emby!

Have you setup your Emby server to work remotely?  By default it's usable only on lan and not remotely.

Try following our setup guide and let us know how you make out.

Was this decision based on your ability to not connect remote?  If so that's something we can help you with via a remote session.
I'd be happy to give you hand doing this if that would change things for you.
