When is emby fixed for Kodi 19

Dear emby team

I just want to hear when will there be a working version of Emby for Kodi version 19?

I, as many others have had their addons ruined because of them not being ready for this change. 

I am using Kodi/Emby on Nvidia Shields so i gotta admit that my knowledge in the reinstalling software on this device is not so great. On my PC its a bit tad easier. 

But as you might already know i will get this error message :

And i just wanna know when we can expect an update?

I managed though to find this post :

 where i saw some one mentioned Embycon which made it so i could watch what i have. But i still want the normal Emby back.

Emby-next-gen is available since weeks. You can load it from beta repository in v5.1.17.

Emby-next-gen is the replacement of (Emby) for Kodi.

Many thx.. I did not know this. I installed it and it works perfectly again <3.

But its only a beta, once its released as a fineshed stable version will it then update it self? Or should i install it from the repository?

I checked it in to stable Repo today but takes a while to sync repo-servers. Anyway, it will never autoupdate the old "Emby" plugin.

Emby-next-gen requires a full database wipe due to major code changes.

Once you have installed "Emby-next-gen" via beta or stable Repo, you will receive automatic updates.
