Hello,

New user here. First of all, I wish you an happy New Year.

Hope you can help me withe the following issue.
I'm using EMBY on a SYNOLOGY DS718+ - DSM 6.2.3
I'm hosting audio files in .FLAC (44,1 khz - 16bits), and having an error message while playing on a TV LG (with Emby App). My TV is connected to the speakers, so it's easyer to use it that way for digital music.

Message displayed : "Erreur de lecture ; Aucun flux compatible n'est disponible" [sorry I'm french ;-)]

Looks like the Emby is trying to direct play the file instead of transcoding, but I couldn't confirm nor solve this ..

here are the log from an ultimate test this morning and an exemple of audio file, in case.01 - Richard Addinsell (1904-1977) - Warsaw Concerto (1941).flac

Many thanks for your help.

When transcoding works, I get standard log entries like:

Info App: ProcessRun 'StreamTranscode 50ed52' Execute: /app/emby/ffmpeg -loglevel +timing -y -print_graphs_file ...

Hi there, are you saying your TV does not support these files? Are you able to update to Emby Server 4.5.4?

Hi Luke,

Unfortunately my TV does not support FLAC that’s why i hoped in transcoding.

The last emby package for my synology is 4.4.3

I’ve seen there was a newer release but don’t look available for DSM Syno.

havé à good day and happy 2021
