jscoys 147 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Hello, Tried to understand how this useful plugin works, and I can't figured out... In my movie library, a lot of movies doesn't grab the Rotten Tomatoes ID. I don't understand because when I take the movie title and type it on the Rotten Website, I found it! So how do you grab Rotten Scores? Based on title or on a correspondance table linking imdb and rotten id? Do I have to spot all my library title missing rotten ID and to force it by hand? Thanks for your answer!

Thanks for your answer! It seems I have the same issue, but then I realized that the RT API allows for 100 queries a day or so. This means that it will take a while to update the whole collection. jscoys 147 Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 As it is mentionned on the description. But the plugin is running for 2 months now and my library is about around 2000 titles. It's the problem in that case.
jscoys 147 Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 IT'S NOT THE PROBLEM IN THAT CASE i mean sorry ;-)
Necker 24 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 The RT ID is not retrieved directly from RT, it comes from Omdb. Its just the critic reviews that the RT plugin gets directly from RT (at 100 a time). Unfortunately some films don't have the RT ID on omdb, even if the film exists on RT. And since RT don't expose the ID on there site there is no way to manually enter this data. 1
jscoys 147 Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 Oh ok too bad ;-) thanks for explanation!
