Jmartins 0
Hi, My emby server 4.5.2.0 cannot validate my recently purchased license. I am running emby server on linux. The server is able to reach https://mb3admin.com/admin/service/registration/validateDevice ,but all I get in response is {"cacheExpirationDays":7,"resultCode":"NOTFOUND","message":"Device Not Found"}. I don't know if this is related or not, but since OCT 25th I started to have the following daily alert: "Check for plugin updates failed" I have been trying to look for some information related to this on this forum but with no luck. May I please have some help ? Thanks embyserver.txt
ebr 14927
Hi. Your machine is unable to validate the SSL cert. Are you running in Docker? ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure. Jmartins 0
No. I installed it via deb package on a raspberry pi.
Jmartins 0
Do you think that this issue is on my server, or does it have to do with the license validation server ?
ebr 14927
Hi. This would definitely be an issue with the local certificate setup. I know our server is fine.
Jmartins 0
Ok. Is there any pointers you can give me about how to fix it ? I use a "let's encrypt" certificate, which seems fine for all my other (https) services. Is there an how-to page on how to setup the certificate for emby linux installations ? Jmartins 0
Hi, To let you know that this issue is not happening on emby 4.6.0.5 BETA. After installing it and not changing any other configuration at all, all works fine: My license is validated and I do have full plugin catalogue. Thanks for the support.
