Hi,

I observed interesting behaviour on Music files. It seems like Emby splits "Studios" by / and this causes a small problem.
Some music publishers have / in name, for example 24/7 Hardcore becomes 24 & 7 Hardcore.

Is there any way to avoid this?
As this is pretty inconvenient, when I would like to filter or search something by Publisher.

As usually, when multiple publishers are involved, they are usually separated by " / " not by "/"

I noticed that "* Improve artist splitting for artists that have a / in their title" was listed in the 4.7.13.0 changelog, but

is still listed as two separate artists, 1 and 3. I tried re-running "Identify" and entered the MusicBrainz ID for both, but it stayed the same. Anything I can do (clear cache, re-import, etc.) to take advantage of the new change?

HI, it just improved the parsing. Impacted artists still need to be reported here so that we can add them to the whitelist. I'll add yours. Thanks.

Thanks! I'm still seeing the error unfortunately. I set both artists to the same MusicBrainz ID, restarted the server, and refreshed the metadata, but they still show up as separate artists.

Hi, that wont' do anything other than just setting external ids like you did. Better to update the embedded information within the audio files and then run a library scan.
