Hey all,
Thank you for the conversations here, but I give up. Saw the app getting a new update, that did not help my case with anything. Will give serviio another try.

Have you checked windows firewall to ensure there are no rules blocking emby server?

I have.  Emby DLNA never shows on my Samsung TVs as a DLNA server.

If you'd like to try the beta server, I'm curious to know if version 4.6.0.3+ helps with this. Thanks.

Did you solve this? I have the same issue - Emby doesn´t show up on my Samsung NU8000 from 2018. It does show on my PC and all other devices. The TV is connected to the correct home network via Wifi. Emby runs on Synology.

No, i did not find any solutions. I tried Emby on a HP server on Ubuntu and CentOs and on my Windows desktop. In the end i just gave up.

My way arround was to make use of a cromecast (gen2) that i already had, and push it from my android phone.

To bad that didn't work.

P.S. i also switched to JellyFin.

Hi, Chromecast works just fine. What happened with that?

@Luke

Hello,

yeah, chromecast works, that was the workaround. The main topic was that DLNA didn't work.

Thank you.

Hi, would you mind trying Emby Server 4.6+ (as of today in  beta), combined with the 1.0.45 Dlna plugin update(or greater)?

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !

Didn't help for me.  Samsung TV still doesn't see Emby as a DLNA source.
