Starkadius 219
http://www.wpcentral.com/media-browser-goes-sale-weekend Scott's new drop in price for the mediabrowser app on Windows Phone has brought in much needed exposure. One thing that keep popping up is "What is the difference between Plex and MB?". I would like some opinions on the matter to best answer this question. Thanks. steve1977 67
That's true, but there are indeed a few major differences: 1) Open-source 2) Tranparent metadata scraping (rather than blackbox like Plex) 3) Proper XBMC support Other differences are somewhat minor in nature and somewhat personal preference.

ebr 14912
Hmmm...That video points out the fact that you had to scroll down to get to the action buttons on our layout. Now that will depend on screen size, but it is a lot more likely with our layout. @@Luke - how do we feel about moving those action buttons either up top or to the side so that it is much less likely that you have to scroll to see/get to them? Koleckai Silvestri 1150
Hummm , I am on old laptop with Firefox , I will have to re-test with different browser and my laptop is 17 inch screen or 15 not sure Resolution is probably more important than screen-size. On 1080p screens the controls appear "above the fold". Though if you have an older machine your resolution may be 1366 X 768, which is actually the most popular resolution in the world today. The controls don't appear "above the fold" on a the first gen iPad which is 1024 X 768. Edited March 3, 2014 by Wayne Luke

Seems we should think about moving those controls where they will be immediately visible in most cases.

Luke 37063
Now that chromecast is out, anyone who's ever helped us promote on other sites it would be great if you can go back to them and tell them all out tonight's release
Swynol 375
i know facebook has been mentioned as a way to promote, would be nice to see a way to share what you are viewing on social media. similar to what trakt does but would be easier to do straight from MB. Possibly on the webclient you can click something which shares it or possibly a plugin that you can manage to either share what you are currently watching automatically. Might take a look at designing a plugin if people think its worth it and are interested.
ebr 14912
Social integration is an area of interest for us and we hope to build the infrastructure into the server such that building a FB or Twitter or whatever plug-in will be very easy.
