TeamB 2352
Log files both from Kodi and Emby Server would help try to work out what could be happening. EmbyCon log files are best, turn on Debug logging in the EmbyCon settings.

I dont think this is due to EmbyCon, it is Kodi that is having issues with the playback, the plugin is not involved with the actual p0layback, once it tell Kodi what to play the EmbyCon addon just monitors the playback and reports status updates to the Emby server so the server knows the progress. lukkie112 0
Which "Force Transcode playback stream option" should i prefere (h265, mpeg4 ....) for my Android Device?
TeamB 2352
no that is not what I mean, just select Force Transcode from the context menu for the video and it will give you an option to select a bitrate, select a low bitrate and try that. lukkie112 0
Hello. I have done what you are saying and chooses Force Transcode from context menue and than Play but it does not help.Stream is aborting Exactly every 18 Minutes the stream breaks Any other idea? And a Question please: By chooseing force transcode, is the transcoding process doing by client (in my case FireTV)but isn't it bad for the client CPU? Edited August 5, 2020 by lukkie112
TeamB 2352
The force transcode is forcing the server to transcode. You could try playback from another pc or laptop to see what happens. If it stops at the same place it is the server, if it does not stop it is your client.
lukkie112 0
Hi. I was doing a test on Windows PC and Android Handy (Samsung Galaxy A6+) over WLAN It is definitely an android problem On Windows PC the stream is working fine from begin to the end of an episode But the same Episode on Android Handy stops The Emby settings on Windows and Handy are the same My FireTV1 (from my first posting) is connected over LAN Cable So you can see it's a problem of android with Kodi/Emby and not the internet connection I hope this can help you to fix that issue
TeamB 2352
I can not fix it. This is a Kodi/Android issue not an Emby server or EmbyCon add-on problem. The last thing you can try is use the Emby for Kodi add-on and see if you get the same results, my guess is you will but it would be good to see if you get the same results. lukkie112 0
ok, I will test emby on my android but i prefere embycon Can you tell me what i have to say to zhe kodi Team, so i would make an issue on the kodi github or you could do that, please? TeamB 2352
Sorry I dont know, I dont know much about the Android platform or if the Kodi build you are using is from the official Kodi team. They will probably ask for a Kodi Debug log and steps to reproduce it. Apart from that I am not sure.

lukkie112 0
I have got an answer from the Kodi Team to my Issue Report. They say, it's not a Problem from Kodi, it have to be a Problem from Emby. So I ask you, please, what to do in this case to fix this Problem? Is there any way to test embycon with Kodi19, possibly, there is no Stream abborting
TeamB 2352
EmbyCon has a Kodi 19 version. Just use the Beta repo https://kodi.emby.tv/
lukkie112 0
It looks like so, that the Problem was my Provider. Edited October 7, 2020 by lukkie112

pünktchen 1251
I guess the user won't be able to attach the Emby log because he doesn't have an Emby server. Instead he's using the server of a commercial provider that is illegal hosting content.

Ok he mentioned rolling back the server so I assumed he had some access to it, or least access to a person who does.
